Therapy in talking..

Sometimes all one needs is a talk....
We live with so many things around us, with so many people around us,, but have you ever stopped to think that, talking can be a therapy???...
I mean not just talking to everyone but that talk with your bestfriend,, can be a girlfriend, a mother, dad, husband or anyone you consider to have a special frienship seat in your parliament(heart)...
We walk with so much in our heads that only can be reduced by sharing...
Talking has been one easy way of sharing these burdens we carry...
But
We are to take care of what to share with who and why we are sharing...
Talking should be to the ones we trust,,,and those we trust should keep the trust and faith we have in them...

Secrets...
I always believe that the only person who can keep a secret is you..
If you ever say something to someone then that is not a secret...(mmh you could not keep it yourself,,how do you expect someone to keep it for you,,haaaa!!!)...the cycle goes like u tell the one u trust cn keep a secret, she/he tells to someone who cn keep a secret...hehhe it goz that way..so make sure whatever you saying to someone is never a secret...
All else...just shhsssssss...

Smiles.

Movie review- Viva Riva....

Viva Riva,, a 2011 movie but one acted so well...
Never imagined to see this from congo, am used to their music but not films..
I read and here so many things about Congo, would not judge em by this film,,but at some clips it is easy to see the life in Kinshansa..
The actor name is Patsha Bay...
Some review about him and the movie...

Who: Patsha Bay Mukuna is a Congo-born singer and star of the Kinshasa-set film, Viva Riva!. He was selected by director, Djo Tunda Wa Munga to play the physically-demanding role of small-time Congolese gangster, Riva, despite Mukuna having no screen acting experience. The film opens with Riva returning home to the capital of Congo after a decade away — rolling in with a truckload of hijacked gasoline that’s worth a fortune, since Kinshasa is out of fuel — but closely pursued by his old Angolan gang that he stole the gas from.

The city of Kinshasa, and the experience of shooting Viva Riva! on the streets there.
Whoa, this is a great city. This is a great city. I think in Kinshasa you can find many things that you can’t find anywhere else in the world. Like, you come in Kinshasa, you can see a church here, and just next to the church you have a bar, a pub. So, it’s just an amazing city, and when you arrive to Kinshasa the first thing that you’re gonna have is people are very social there. Yeah, and when you’re in Kinshasa, even if you get lost, you always have someone to tell you where you have to go. So, it’s a very kind people, and it’s a a very safe place to be I think actually. But the politics is not really going like people want, yeah, but I think that is gonna change. That’s why we try, with the culture, to export the image of the country outside. Then, other countries can see what we are able to do in Congo, even though the politics is a little bit down — but the culture is there.

There’s no place like Kinshasa to shoot this film. I think if the film was shooting in another city, there would be another feeling. Maybe a good feeling, but I think that Kinshasa has a particular feeling, and the director just made the right choice. Because, you know, I think there’s only three foreign actors in the movie. One, the girl Nora, she’s from France. And Cesar, the bad guy, he’s from Angola but he lives here in U.S.A. And I’m a Congolese, and all the other actors are Congolese. So when you’re Congolese and you want to do a Congolese film, I think it’s easy to show people how we live in our real life. Because it’s just like asking me to do an Angolan film. I can do it, but maybe I will not have the real feeling that Angolan people got.

Tell me about the Kinshasa nightlife and gas shortages that play such a big role in Viva Riva!
You know, in Kinshasa people love to dance, love partying. So, when you have a club you’re just a rich man, because when you have a club you’ve got too much people who come in there because they love to dance. And in Kinshasa, you can see in the club, you can see some people come in and just waste money. They can just come and waste too much money in the club buying champagne. And you see, you can come in Kinshasa, and for one night you can spend — some people — just come, and can spend more than $5,000 in the club just to drink and to have fun(heee...seriously...,,na hivi wanapendaga sifa..). So, that’s why I think it’s a good business for people who have got clubs there

How important is the success of Viva Riva! to how the world views Congolese films and actors?
You know, our country is a big country, but we don’t have ambassadors who can really show that there is something to say in the Congo. There is some talents, and there is too much potentiality to do a good job there. But I think I’m an optimist, and I think with the film Viva Riva!, we’re just starting a way to become the next future big star of the Congo in cinema.
I want to do other films. Because as I told you, I think that I’m in love with the cinema actually, because it was just a good and a great experience. And I think that I have quality to do some more films. I’m just looking forward to having some other castings, and I have a chance to do some other films. Why not here in Hollywood? Why not?

Nice one..

Personality vs handwritting.....????

Assessing handwriting

From France nkpata hii..
According to Catharine Bottiau, one of France's best-known practitioners, it is delusional to imagine that graphologists actually make decisions about who gets what job.

Normally we are consulted once the client has already drawn up a shortlist of candidates. Then the candidates will be asked to write a motivational letter, using their own handwriting.

"We will examine the letters, and offer our advice. Usually this will tend to confirm the impressions already gleaned from interviews, the CV, personality tests and so on.

The basic principle is that the act of writing reveals personality. To study graphology is to study the energy that guides the hand, and the message which - unconsciously as well as consciously - the person wants to convey."

I have no idea how it works, but to me it is obvious: the handwriting of a marketing guy is not the same as the handwriting of a sales guy, which is not the same as the handwriting of an artist or of an accountant at Deloittes...

Hivi like serious, recruiters wakianza kuchagua watu kwa kupitia miandiko,,wangapi watapita au wangapi wangekua na positions walizonazo leo?...
Hahha,,, it is like m looking at someone's handwritting na siezi acha kucheka...my gf,, fudongo fudongo anamwandiko funny mpka i cant tell.....hhaha(gf please forgive me)....look who is laughing,,,najaribu kutoa kibanzi akati....ehehhe...

Stolen Moments..

Love has never ceased to amaze me..
Things we do for love are sometimes so so off us...
Wonder what and how people feel after going beyond that extreme they are expected to go..
Wonder how people feel when they do things that when people look at them wonder if they were serious to do whatever they did..
Am talking of things like sneaking out of where you supposed to be and catching a plane to some wonderland to have some stolen moments...

Having a vacation/leave  from your daily life even if it is just for a day and being somewhere far in one of the appreciated place, with most appreciated person in your life makes you feel like you have gone to a honeymoon vacation"have never been married, this is just my saying from my own perception of taking a break from work..."....

Believe me stolen moments are the best moments someone can ever have in his or her life...
I would not mind stealing some moments once in some time just to be happy even for a second...

hahha..
Jaribu kutoroka kibaruani sasa, afu ushikwe...
Mi simo,,just removed my view..

Wht doesnt kill you makes you stonger...

When someone is alone does not mean they cannot have there life like those who have someone.
Some people think that just becuse you are dreaming alone, then you dont have the best in you....
Just beacuse you have decided to move alone and count other things dead in your life does not give someone an opportunity to sit back and laugh and see your life as a big joke...
Just remember that "one who laugh lasts laughs better..,, dont think you have had the last laugh, because believe it, it will come with me when you least expect it"....
Yes am a human being and i cant be perfect everyday.
I have my weaknesses which let me down day by day, but atleast i know them and am working towards addressing them..
What does not kill you makes you stronger.
Yes i will stand a little taller..
and it Does not mean am lonely when am alone....
Being Just me, myself and I is the best thing ever...love it...
I believe that time, days, years spent alone are the most valuable moments in life as it is the time one learns and discover more about themselves.

Just make sure you dont press the wrong buttons when it comes talking to people, be sure of what you saying, consider their feelings and dont tend to judge them, and most of all dont say your unresearched study of which you cannot even defend...na pia usijifanye kuwajua watu sana...if you wanna know me just come i borrow you me(be in my shoe one day) then after there you can say something about me confidently...
Because believe me, it is like putting wrong shoes on a nice outfit...that is how morelikely you are to look...

Wink wink..

Most Influential women in the Bible..

Women are said to be the central nerve of the community, they are the 90% determinant of the society's character..
In the Bible most of the figures mentioned have been men, only few women have been recognized as icons or figures who presented something...
Today as i reviewed the stories told about these Bible icons on the side of women, was pleased with these 3 Icons...

Mary Magdalene,, she was known to be a prositute, and as the society even today women doing this or even just a woman having more than one man is regarded to be a great sinner, unclean and even people dont want to be seen with them publically..,
Mary was privileged to be visited by Jesus at her home and what she did was to leave everything, go to Jesus  bow down at his feet, washed em with her tears, dried em with her hair and perfumed em with the most expensive perfume....Yes this lady recognized her weakness, and worked toward to get salvation,.She did not fear of how Jesus might have reacted on her, especially for a sinner like her...
What i learned from her is "never judge before you face anyone, Fear not when In the presence of God, No matter how sinful you are, there is always a room for salvation for you,,God does not push away sinners...

Hannah!!! She was married at a young age and unfortunately to a polygamy man who had another wife..She lived many years without concieving, she was thought to be barren...Hannah turned her sorrows to God and she never ceased praying and being the good woman despite of the scoldings and the bad words in the community about her...Furthermore when God blessed her with a son "Samuel" she kept her promise of letting her son work for God...
Lesson learned"always stand still while waiting for God's answer,Pray until something happens(PUSH),, learn to keep promises"

The nameless woman who had been sick for many years touched Jesus hem and she was healed....
lesson learned"have faith in God, Faith is believing before you see,,Courage is what i see in her too...

This left me with questions like, am i good enough for my name to be one day written in the Bible as one of the woman used by God to present something on the society??or if not what is my record like right now in heaven?what about the society that surrounds me what do they see when they look at me?...
We women, should learn to appreciate the fact that we were created to be women, we should embrace our responsibility and be ready to do it accurately....

happy Sabbath..

The Sabado's msg....

I always feel good on this day!!!
I aways feel blessed on this day,,, and i thank God for making a one day for us to rest and have time with him...
Well wish you a happy sabbath...

My friend Lacq and I, after church hours....(hata smile ni za kisabato like my mum saying this..LOL!!!)hahah...

Let mi share what was preached today..
I quoted this..
"Truth remains truth, what changes is how we understand that truth from time to time...."

....Be careful with the smiles you see around everyday, dont assume than everyone is ok....a couple visited pastor and kanichekesha pale aliposema people hawana mazoea ya kuetembelea pastors unless there is a burning issue...(definetely i would marry a pastor..hhaha dont ask me why)....
So the couple were going under financial crisis and there was no food at home", as the woman who was always smiling at church cried, explaining the situation to the pastor, pastor was thinking inside"like what and how am i going to help them"...
the point to note here is that, when someone is connected to God, God always has a solution for you, and normally that solution is never of our self interest..it is always uncomfortable reply (not according to your suggestions)
There is always that question of "what about me, how will i survive" after God's reply...(the selfish nature, of ME< ME)..wonder if Jesus had this mentality, would we be in God's mercy?, would we have been saved?

Pastor was told to give all the savings he had in his bedroom,,"Jesus is troublesome, how can i give all what i have labored for" hesisted the pastor,, later on he decided to obey the voice and gave the couple what he had....and in days to come he was blessed, here we put the only math that says that everything multplies when subtracted....

The teaching there was that we always have to obey God's voice, you have to go beyond your feelings, emotions....be happy to give....let go of that selfish nature of "what about me"..
Remember to give God what belongs to God...."the 10%" is an obligatory but in willingness...am talking about the tithe(10% of your earnings)...

Wow loved the teaching..., i loved the presentation...
Thanks pastor L...
happy sabbath..

MEN FOR REFERENCE...

Pasted it somewhere and here am sharing it..

Every girl in Nairobi proclaims she is not the ‘trip-trip’ girl; a reference from the movie Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, in which Harvey asks women to insist that men open the car door for them instead of simply flicking an electronic button.
Steve Harvey is one among many male relationship gurus. Men are now the new relationship experts, and every book by a man on relationships is sure to hit the New York Times bestseller list.
It started with Greg Bernherdt with He Is Just Not That Into You, a clarion call for women to stop making excuses for men. Then came Steve Harvey, then Hill Harper with The Conversation, and recently the R ‘n B singer Tyrese who has co-penned a bestseller titled Manology.
On the surface, it makes a lot of sense: If you want to know what a man is thinking, ask a man, right? Ok, then. Is this to imply that all men are the same? Could this be this century’s biggest discovery?
If all men are the same, would that mean that we could all hypothetically apply the same theory to any man and come up with the same result? Are men that simple that one manual can decode all of them?
And why is it that so many women are running to men for advice? Lynette Nekesa, a 28-year-old procurement officer thinks men can give women insight to the male mind.
“A woman can never really tell why a man is doing what he is doing, but a man can. I generally go to men first for relationship advice and insight,” she says.
Cliff Mogere, a 32-year-old financial consultant, thinks that women are naturally hard-wired to defer to men. Women do everything to please men, so why shouldn’t they seek men out to find out how to make other men happy?

Looking out for themselves

We still live in an extremely patriarchal society and men are still seen as overlords, and many male relationship experts still preach that the answer to all a woman’s woes is more cooking, more sex and less lip. Women should cater to men if they want to be in great relationships.
On his Twitter feed, Tyrese dispenses some interesting advice on gender roles in the bedroom: ‘Ladies, it’s your job to go and get the wash rag after sex as we lay there and sleep.”
Many male relationship experts seem to believe the problem always is with the woman. Men think we should understand how they work and modify our behaviour accordingly. Harvey, for example, says men cheat because women let them.
This begs the question, if women are to blame for every bad choice men make, why should men even bother to show up in a relationship? So is it possible that men look out for their own, and don’t always necessarily offer advice that is in a woman’s best interest? To this, Lynette says, “I look for advice from men I know I can trust – men with valuable insight mostly from experience.”
I put these questions to Maurice Matheka, a trained sexologist and a relationship counsellor. Matheka believes that men just give better advice as their advice is ‘based on practicality not emotion’. According to him, his being a man offering women advice is just a happy coincidence and his gender has nothing to do with the advice he gives.
He examines human behaviour, not male behaviour. Another oft quoted source locally is Dr. Chris Hart. During our conversation he does point out that he is a trained psychologist and in as much as he is a man, his advice is never tempered by that.
It is my job to help people understand the motivation behind their behaviour. My advice comes from a mix of experience and statistics. My biases never creep into the advice I give.”
Being male, it is difficult to understand the extreme predicament being a woman can be. Harvey for example, asks women to lower their standards when picking partners. So if you are a CEO and the cleaner tries to holler, by all means, agree. It is interesting to note that men are always told to seek out the best. Double standards, much?..

Hope it served the purpose..

R.I.P Queen of taraab(Bi Kidude)

Rest in peace Fatuma binti Baraka,,,(Bi Kidude)

How sad to know that the queen of taaraab is gone after battling hard with diabetes...
Bi kidude will be remembered for her energetic voice, her nice jokes, huge genorosity of spirit.
She was one kind of  person who loved simplicity, embraced her culture.
She was a herblist(alikua akitibu ulcers), na alifunda akina dada,,,(just imagining how and what she taught)
I can simply put this words in one word"she was and still remarkable"
She is one of the few people on earth who have lived their life to the fullest.....

May her soul rest in peace...

MAXIMISE YOUR FORWARD MOTION

MAXIMISE YOUR FORWARD MOTION Food for thought: What you are going through now, many successful people in society had once passed through it before they were promoted to the level they are. Philippians 3:13-14 “…But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” In our spiritual walk with the Lord, we have good times and hard times. If you rely on the strength of our Saviour, He will not allow the enemy of your soul to give you more than you can take. Therefore, when hardship comes, when discouragement comes, don’t stop; dig deep and fight it through. We fight through our failures by maximizing our forward motion. For everything there is a purpose, as a Christian. The situation around you will always prepare you as a true Christian for extraordinary service. PRAYER: Since it is such a dangerous thing to look back, let us always press forward. Lord, give me the grace to avoid the trap of looking back.

An advice for couples getting married soon.
Three things:

  1. Make your wedding a reflection of yourself
  2. Keep God at the center of the planning
  3. Cut your cloth according to your size

When life spins out of control....

There are days when you wake up and the only thing you can manage to do is to lift up your hands and ask God to take control of what is ahead of you...
Yeah some time life goes out of control and you cannot do anything....

This is what i listen to
"Jesus Take The Wheel"
She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati
On a snow white Christmas Eve
Going home to see her Mama and her Daddy with the baby in the backseat
Fifty miles to go and she was running low on faith and gasoline
It'd been a long hard year
She had a lot on her mind and she didn't pay attention
she was going way too fast
Before she knew it she was spinning on a thin black sheet of glass
She saw both their lives flash before her eyes
She didn't even have time to cry
She was so scared
She threw her hands up in the air

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel

It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder
And the car came to a stop
She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat sleeping like a rock
And for the first time in a long time
She bowed her head to pray
She said I'm sorry for the way
I've been living my life
I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel

Oh I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
From this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel
Oh take it take it from me
Oh....

Personally love the lyrics...
They give me strength especially when it comes to things i can not control....
I just lift them up and ask God to take the Wheel, to fight my battle....

Google Inactive account manager..

Hehhe, that is why i said i love google...
Sasa google inakupa nafasi ya kueka will kwa account yako..."hayo yangu"
Habari iko hivi...
Google has launched a tool that lets users decide what happens with their email, Google Plus and other accounts after they die - or become inactive online for any other reason

Called "inactive account manager", the feature lets users of Google's services tell the company what to do with email messages and other data if their account becomes inactive.
For example, Google says, users can choose to delete their data after three, six or 12 months of inactivity, or they can choose specific people to receive the data.
Besides Gmail and Google Plus, other services covered include YouTube, the photo-sharing service Picasa and Blogger. Google, based in Mountain View, California, says it will warn users through a secondary email address or a provided phone number before taking any action.

Imekaa poa....
Love love google..
