This Saturday at church..

I have had the most beautful saturday.
Went to my church for the first time since i came to this country and i must say I am trully blessed.
Today is an International Women's Day of prayer.
So it was women ministering, and for the first program which we call Sabbath School the topic  was the power in prayers, I learned that Praying is the only direct conversation we have with God(talking to God and Listening to him when talking to you), we should always find time to pray and prayers can be done anywhere and at anytime.
"A family that prays together remain united"i quoted one of the speakers...

Then we had the second program:Lesson Study
This week topic had been" Marriage:A Gift From Eden" please if interested to read about this go www.ssnet.org/lessons/(Lesson 9)

In a summarized way and what i grasped is that people should look at marriage as a gift from God, it shoud be for two people, a woman and a man with God above them, should form a triangle that is unbreakable, through thick and thin,,
when people think of marriage should look beyond sex, it is about companionship, understanding, being a shoulder for one another and more and more.
Once in it,no coming out and whatever God binded no man shall separate.

Then we had the Divine Service.
The bread of life was given and we were all reminded on the role of a man and a woman...
A man is a head of a home,God made it that way, we should all respect that and men should also recognize their role and play it well.
A woman is a heart to a home.(she is to provide love, care and support to the household), just as important as it is for  heart to beat, then that is how a woman should be active(if the heart stops beating then no more life)
She should be wise and always remember that if a home goes down then she failed it...
Well it was interesting..

A happy sabbath to all my fellow SDA's hata wale wasiokua, please attend to one of our saturday's Worship and get your blessings...

Love u..
