They say women are complicated beings,,but is it not through this "complications" that make us interesting?,,peculiar??fun to be with???
What do you think???
Does hair has a big say in a woman?
I dont know how other fellow women can say about this.
Well,
When i decided to cut my hair it was simply because i wanted to have a new look, wanted to rock my natural hair and look more african.
Plus i have always loved dreads and at one point when i was doing my 1st degree, did it and loved how it looked, so this time wanted it dyed and temporal..
Well it was also because got tired of relaxing my hair with the chemicals
Got several comments about it but never cared, simply because it was something that i had wanted and it was not to impress anyone, it was for myself..
Heehe...so i ask myself a qn once more,,is the importance placed on hair worthy it??
Well,,it is said that "Hair is a woman’s glory.” Glory, self-worth, social acceptance and beauty are all tangled up in every woman’s hair...
In history
back as ancient Egypt, a woman’s hairstyle indicated her age, status, role in society and political importance..
The question???
Can education change the importance women place on their hair? Maybe. Maybe not. In a recent Dr. Oz show, Dr. Oz demonstrated the damage and risks of using chemical relaxers, flat irons and hair color, yet none of the women featured seemed ready give up their flat iron any time soon.
Of course everyone knows it’s what’s inside a person that matters most, yet it’s so difficult to avoid judgment of yourself and others based on what you see on the outside. Damn human nature! The best you can do is take the time to look beyond the hair and into the heart—yours or someone else’s to make your final judgment
