My mind is filled with lot of things, i have thoughts of this and that...
Looking around as i make my steps my eyes are captured by two young men sitting around three big city council trash bins where all the residents of the area that reside on that place dump their whatever...you can imagine all that goes into those trash
bins.....believe me when i say that if you brought yourself closer to those things your nose would curse you over and over again, it would even go to the extent of wanting to withdrawal its membership from the the rest of your body members....
One resident walks towards the bin with his big black plastic bags and throws them into the bins, and he leaves quickly, before my eyes blink, the two young men go running towards the bins and starts opening the plastic bag as if there is something so precious in the abandoned plastic bags....
They are not visitors of this place but this is where they live......
That is what they do...
They depend on the leftovers and the so called trash of the residents who reside on this area....
It is Pity to see such young men wasting their lives like that...
Many questions keep flowing in my head, What is really wrong with these young men? is it lack of education??cant they work??does this has to do with the government?the community??or is it on a personal level???
This goes to all youth...
If you had a privilege to go to school, had shelter and all the basics, ask yourself this question
Have i done enough so far for myself, for the community??
What achievement have i accomplished so far upto now???
Try reviewing youself and see where you are now, where you are going.....
Life is not just waking up everyday and doing the routine, it involves developing ideas and targets and making them happen.
Live with a purpose and remember you have a task, a big task of making a difference to yourself and to everyone around you......
Stop feeling sorry for yourself, one thing i will be honest with you is that no one absolutely will feel sorry for you if you are there doing nothing or making no efforts to do something..
For God's sake, you have been in school, God knows for how many years, cant you do something???just anything significant....dont just sit there and wait things to happen....mmh praying for miracles....think!! think!!! and think!!!
Hey!!! hey You..wake up...its November 6th, you only have almost 9weeks, 55 days,1,320hours,79200minutes, 4,752,000seconds to make a difference...do it today..now!!!
